A dense cluster of newer towers on the old rail lands, with a linear park running through it.

CityPlace was built on the former rail lands between Spadina and the Rogers Centre, and it is the most concentrated new-build neighbourhood in the city — a dozen and more towers put up over roughly two decades, connected by a linear park and a pedestrian bridge over the rail corridor. Units are generally smaller than the downtown average and priced accordingly, which has made it a common entry point for first-time buyers and a heavy investor market. The amenities are genuine and the location is excellent for anyone working downtown. The reservations are density and unit size, both of which you should judge in person rather than from a floor plan.
Condominium apartments, predominantly one-bedroom and one-plus-den, with some townhouse podiums.
First-time buyers, investors, and tenants — the rental share here is among the highest downtown.
The 509 and 510 streetcars, Union Station a short walk, the Bathurst bridge to the west.
Buildings vary considerably in construction quality and fee history. Compare several before choosing.
