Dufferin Grove is organised around its park, which is unusual among Toronto parks for how actively it is programmed — a bread oven, a farmers market, a rink, and a long history of resident-led activity. The neighbourhood around it is modest by comparison to Trinity Bellwoods a few blocks east, with Victorian semis and rowhouses that have historically traded at a discount to the streets nearer the more fashionable parks. That gap has narrowed but not closed. Bloor Street runs along the north edge with the subway beneath it, which is the single biggest practical advantage over the neighbourhoods further south.
