Brockton Village sits between Dundas West and Bloor, west of Dufferin, and it is one of the smaller and less-defined west end pockets — which has historically meant better value than the neighbourhoods that surround it. The housing is Victorian and Edwardian, narrow and attached, on streets that are noticeably quiet given how close the commercial strips are. It has changed steadily rather than dramatically, with renovation happening house by house rather than through redevelopment. Buyers who find it are usually looking for a west end house and have been priced out of Little Portugal or Roncesvalles.
