L’Amoreaux covers a substantial area of north-central Scarborough around the park that shares its name, and it is a mixed and diverse neighbourhood — postwar and seventies detached houses on quiet residential streets, townhouse complexes, and clusters of apartment towers along the arterials. The park itself is large, with sports fields, a pond and trails. The community is notably multicultural, with substantial Chinese, South Asian and Filipino populations. Prices are moderate for the space provided, and the area draws families steadily.
