Milliken sits at the northern edge of Scarborough against Steeles Avenue and the Markham boundary, and it is a predominantly newer residential area with a large Chinese and East Asian population. The commercial landscape reflects that, with major Asian shopping centres nearby on both sides of Steeles. Housing is a mix of detached and semi-detached subdivision homes from the seventies onward and townhouse complexes, generally offering space and newer construction at prices well below comparable stock further south. Milliken GO serves the area.
