Flemingdon Park was built in the early sixties as a planned high-density community — apartment towers and townhouse clusters arranged around shared green space, on land bounded by the Don Valley and Eglinton. It is among the most diverse neighbourhoods in the city and among the densest outside downtown, with a largely immigrant population and a substantial rental share. The Eglinton Crosstown and the planned Ontario Line will both serve the area, which represents the most significant change to its accessibility since it was built. Purchases here are generally apartments, and often investment rather than owner-occupied.
