Greektown runs along Danforth Avenue roughly from Broadview to Pape, and it remains one of the most recognisable commercial strips in the city — restaurants with patios that fill from spring through autumn, and the annual street festival that closes the road. The subway runs directly beneath, which is the practical advantage that underpins the whole neighbourhood. Housing on either side is solid brick semis and detached houses, generally well maintained, with the streets immediately north and south commanding a premium for being walkable to the strip without being on it.
